Description
A pyrolysis furnace for producing charcoal and biochar, at 200–500 kg per batch.
What the furnace does
Pyrolysis is heating biomass with oxygen restricted. Without enough oxygen the material does not burn away to ash — it releases its volatiles and leaves a carbon skeleton behind. That is charcoal.
What decides the result is not the furnace itself but control over temperature, airflow and duration. Those three determine whether you get high fixed carbon or a soft product with an uncarbonised core.
Specification
- Capacity 200–500 kg per batch
- Material heat-resistant steel
- Operating temperature 400–700°C
That temperature range is not arbitrary. Below it, carbonisation does not complete and the core stays raw. Above it, too much carbon is lost with the volatiles and yield falls.
Who it suits
Producers who want to process their own feedstock — coconut shell, hardwood, or other biomass waste — rather than buying finished charcoal.
Before buying, weigh this honestly: pyrolysis is simple to describe and difficult to control. Buying the same furnace an established producer uses does not automatically give the same output, because the equipment was never the hard part. Plan for the time it takes to find the right parameters for your feedstock.
We provide process guidance to furnace buyers. Tell us your feedstock and target product when you get in touch.

Every production batch is retested. The figures above are the reference specification. We run a fresh laboratory test on each production batch and issue the results as a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for your shipment — so what you verify is the batch you actually receive, not a number on a web page.
