Biomass Drying Oven
Drying oven to reduce moisture content of charcoal and biomass before pressing.
Minimum Order
1 unit
Description
A biomass drying oven at 500 kg per batch, bringing moisture below 5%.
Why drying is decisive
Moisture is the most underestimated parameter and the one that most often ruins a shipment.
Briquettes with moisture too high crack when heated, spit when burnt, and deliver less heat because part of their energy goes into evaporating water. For export the problem is larger still: damp material sealed in a container for a five-week sea voyage can grow mould before it arrives.
Export buyers put a moisture ceiling in the contract for exactly this reason.
Specification
- Capacity 500 kg per batch
- Temperature 80–150°C
- Target moisture below 5%
The temperature range is deliberately not high. Drying is not roasting — the aim is to drive out water without altering the carbon structure formed during carbonisation.
When you need one
If your production relies on sun-drying, your final moisture follows the weather. In the rainy season that means product that misses specification, or a production schedule that slips.
A drying oven makes that parameter your decision rather than the season's. For producers shipping to buyers with a written moisture ceiling, it is not a luxury — it is what makes the contract meetable year-round.
Tell us your monthly production volume and your current drying setup, so the capacity we suggest matches what you actually need.

Every production batch is retested. The figures above are the reference specification. We run a fresh laboratory test on each production batch and issue the results as a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for your shipment — so what you verify is the batch you actually receive, not a number on a web page.
