Description
Biomass pellets from spent coffee grounds, pressed into a dense, uniform fuel for industrial use.
Why pellet it
Loose coffee grounds are awkward to handle: bulky, wet, and impossible to feed automatically. Pressed into pellets, they become a fuel that can be stored, transported, and fed through an auger system like wood pellets.
The increase in density also means more energy per cubic metre of storage — something that shows up directly in logistics cost.
Specification
- Feedstock spent coffee grounds
- Form pellet
- Application industrial fuel and heating
Who it suits
Biomass boilers, industrial heating, and dryers already running on solid fuel. If your system currently runs wood pellets, coffee-ground pellets can serve as an alternative or a blend — but the ash behaves differently, so testing on your own equipment is not a formality.
What to test before committing
Coffee grounds produce ash with a different character from wood. On a boiler running continuously, that affects the cleaning schedule. We recommend a trial at small volume first, watching ash behaviour across several cycles, before switching your whole supply.
Tell us your equipment specification and monthly consumption, and we will prepare a sample at a volume large enough for a meaningful test — not a handful.

Every production batch is retested. The figures above are the reference specification. We run a fresh laboratory test on each production batch and issue the results as a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for your shipment — so what you verify is the batch you actually receive, not a number on a web page.
