Why ash decides everything in shisha

On a grill, ash falls through the grate and stops mattering. In a shisha bowl it accumulates where it sits, blocks airflow and chokes the coal. Lounge customers feel it immediately as a heavy draw and a changed flavour.

That is why shisha buyers screen suppliers on one figure first — ash content — before discussing anything else.

Ash colour is read too, and not for appearance: white indicates clean, complete combustion, while yellowish indicates incompletely carbonised residue. The white to whitish-grey ash on this product is a consequence of the feedstock and the carbonisation process, not of any whitening treatment.

Size, and what it costs to ship

C24 and C28 are stocked as standard, with custom dimensions available when your customer's equipment requires them. Cube size matters because the coal has to sit predictably on the bowl and heat the tobacco evenly without tipping.

Cubes are also the most efficient shape to ship. Because they stack without voids, a 20-foot container takes more than finger or hexagonal formats. On a full container that difference is worth real money.

Feedstock

One hundred per cent coconut shell, with no wood blended in. That is what keeps the burn close to odourless and leaves the tobacco flavour unchanged — a hard requirement for a product whose heat sits directly against what the customer inhales.

Moisture is held at 8–11% because material that is too damp cracks when heated and lights slowly, while material that is too dry becomes brittle in transit.
