Description
A hexagonal briquette with a central hole, built for long burns in commercial kitchens — not for weekend grilling.
Why the shape has a hole
The central hole is not decoration. Air is drawn through the core, so combustion happens from the inside out as well as from the surface in. The result is usable heat that holds far longer than a solid shape of the same weight.
That is why hexagonal is the standard on satay stalls, yakitori counters and restaurant grill lines: the bed does not need rebuilding in the middle of service.
Test figures
Tested at the Ministry of Forestry laboratory (PUSPHB Bogor, KAN-accredited) against SNI 06-3730-1995, report 092/LHU/P2HB/07/2026:
- Calorific value 5,608.85 cal/g
- Fixed carbon 58.22%
- Moisture 5.11%
- Ash 14.85%
- Bulk density 0.732 g/cm³
We publish that ash figure as it stands. On a commercial grill, ash falls through the grate and does not interfere — what matters is that the bed is not smothered mid-service. But if you are sourcing for shisha, this is the wrong product; see the premium shisha briquette, which is made for low ash.
Food-grade binder
The binder is food grade, and the briquette is made to produce minimal smoke and minimal sparking. Both matter in semi-enclosed kitchens, where smoke is a ventilation problem and sparking is a safety one.
Other shapes
Alongside hexagonal we press round and square formats with the same burn character. If your equipment requires a particular dimension, tell us the size — the die can be matched.

Every production batch is retested. The figures above are the reference specification. We run a fresh laboratory test on each production batch and issue the results as a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for your shipment — so what you verify is the batch you actually receive, not a number on a web page.
