Contract manufacturing means we produce briquettes and charcoal to your specification, in your packaging, under your brand. You do not need a factory, a press, or a kiln — you need a brand and a market.
Two terms get used interchangeably here, and the difference is worth knowing before you ask for a quote. OEM generally means we produce to a specification you own, and the product carries your brand from the start. Contract manufacturing (makloon) is closer to renting production capacity: you may supply the material, the formula, or both, and we run it through our line.
In practice most projects sit somewhere between the two, and the arrangement is written into the agreement rather than assumed. What stays constant either way is that ABRA branding appears nowhere on your product unless you ask for it.

What you control

Feedstock

Quality control
Each step exists because skipping it shows up later — in the bowl, on the grate, or in a rejected container.
Incoming inspection
Coconut shell checked at the gate before it enters production.
Moisture test
Measured before pyrolysis — wet feedstock never carbonises evenly.
Controlled pyrolysis
Held at 450–500°C. Below it the core stays raw; above it yield falls.
Milling and mixing
Ground, then blended with a food-grade binder.
Pressing and oven drying
8–12 hours at 80°C, to bring moisture down without altering the carbon structure.
Sorting and burn test
Manual sorting plus a burn-time test on every batch before packing.
Sample retained, COA issued
A QC sample is archived and a Certificate of Analysis issued per lot.

It depends on the shape, packaging and whether the run needs a custom mould, so we quote it per project rather than publishing one figure. Tell us the product and your target volume and we will answer directly — including when your volume is too small to be worth your money.
Lead time is production plus packaging, and packaging is usually the longer of the two for a new brand. Ordering packaging early is what keeps a schedule tight. We give a dated schedule once specification and artwork are settled.
Yes, and you should. We send a pre-production sample and wait for written approval before mass production starts. Burn it on the equipment your customer actually uses — a document tells you the specification, only burning tells you the behaviour.
You own the design. If you have artwork we produce to it; if you do not, we can help work it out. Our standard formats are a 1 kg inner box, 5 kg pouch and 10 kg corrugated box, and custom formats are made when your market expects something else.
Every production batch is retested in the laboratory and issued a Certificate of Analysis for that batch. The agreed specification goes into the cooperation agreement with numbers next to it, not into a chat thread.
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, Certificate of Origin, the batch COA and an MSDS, with support arranged per destination country. Requirements differ by destination and change over time — your customs broker at the destination port is the authority, not us.
No, unless you want it there. Neutral or own-brand packaging is the default for OEM work.
